Phone Calls is an anthology series of conversations exploring the way people speak to each other when not face to face. Free of physical proximity, a space is born in which personal truths and, often times, ugliness are unleashed by those closest to you as well as those most foreign.

The show was created by Bonnie Wright and Martin Cohn. Cohn was the writer of the series and Wright directed. The first three episodes of the series premiered at Tribeca Film Festival 2017.

"Filmed entirely on film, the series takes on a dreamy aesthetic full of rich colours which are at odds with the moments of ugliness revealed in the conversations." - i-D magazine, 2017

"Shot in 16mm film, the show debuted at Tribeca Film Festival last month to critical acclaim. It is exploration of the nuanced relationships we share over the phone" - LOVE magazine, 2017
